Check If Your Phone is Compatible with Lyca Mobile SIM Card

The TAC (Type Allocation Code) is the initial eight digits of your IMEI, which identifies your device's manufacturer and model number. To retrieve it from your device, simply dial *#06# and enter the first 8 digits into the search box. You can also retrieve the TAC (first 8 digits of your IMEI) by checking your device settings:

iPhone
  1. Select “Settings” icon on your display screen
  2. Scroll down and tap the section marked “General”
  3. Choose “About”
  4. Your IMEI will be listed along with information such as the model name, number, and serial number
Android
  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select “About Phone”
  3. Scroll past information such as emergency contact and model number to your IMEI
Google
  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Security and then Find My Device
  3. At the top left tap the phone icon
  4. Tap Information
  5. Your phone’s IMEI will appear to the right of the phone icon
  6. Look at the physical device
If for some reason you’re unable to check your IMEI number in your phone’s settings, there are also a few places you can look on your physical device such as on the back or on the battery sticker.
